For me, home means "Heimat", like we say in Bavaria, solidarity and family. There are many traditions here in Kiefersfelden, such as carnival, club life and the holidays with their traditional church processions. It’s the holidays and festivals where everyone comes together to help and celebrate, often in traditional costume, while we work together to make such moments possible.
The village holds all the memories that make up my life, both the good and the bad. It is the backing and support I receive when I ask for help or simply because the people here are attentive and look out for each other. You are never alone, but always part of a lively community where everyone knows everyone else - and that is wonderful.

Young and old belong together here and we experience everything together. The common good is important to me and I like being part of this community and making my contribution to it.
For me, the moment I decided to get a choker was also the moment I felt completely at home here. My parents are not from here, and I moved here as a small child and never really felt like I belonged at first. At some point, the day came when I was integrated into clubs and village life, the dialect had become my language... For me, the necklace symbolizes the moment when my home here in the village finally became my home. Choker necklaces are a very traditional piece of jewellery that is worn with traditional costume and have not only a high emotional but also material value. They are often passed down through many generations. I hope to start this tradition in my family.

The Schopperalm is a restaurant in the mountains run by a family of friends. Family, friends, work, togetherness and fun, a place that connects people and brings everyone together. Everyone comes there, you always know someone there, whether old or young, and it’s always fun. Like a second family.
