For me, traditions with my family, clubs and the church are important. Even though I’m not a huge believer myself, Palm Sunday is a very important tradition for our family. On Palm Sunday, the whole family always gathers to carry palms and spends the whole day together. The second important tradition for me is the knights’ plays. They are simply part of it here. The knights’ plays “take up the whole summer”, but it’s worth it. For 1.5 months of the year, you spend so much time with this community, rehearsing and putting something on stage that will hopefully please the audience. People know each other and support each other. You help out at clubs, even if you’re not a member. It’s always a community, you’re part of something.
I was at a funeral this week for an 89-year-old from Kiefer. Normally, funerals of such old people are not very well attended, but here the church was full. So many associations and companions, young and old, came to say goodbye.
It doesn’t matter whether there is a 40-year age difference in a friendship. You share a passion for music or theater and that connects you. The interpersonal relationships here are the most important thing for me in the village. I lived in other places for 10 years, sometimes abroad, and now I love living here again. I am simply rooted here and this is where I belong
The mountains are definitely a big part of my village and a very important part for me. There is nothing better than struggling up a mountain, then sitting
at the top and enjoying the peace and quiet. Whether alone or in company, going up a mountain always feels good and liberating.
Thats the reason why my hiking shoes are really important to me.

My personal favorite place in Kiefersfelden fits my object. I’ve been up on the "Nusslberg" all my life and the view of the "Kaiser" is simply the best view here.
