For me, Kiefersfelden - my village - is my home, my family, my joy, the safety, the tradition and so much more. I’ve lived here for as long as I can remember and it’s simply my home! My parents and grandparents grew up here. There are so many traditions here that are lived and loved by everyone. The mountains, the air, the lakes and yet the central location make the whole thing perfect. The people, the landscape and the feeling in the village are unmistakable. If you don’t experience it yourself, you won’t understand this feeling. Everyone knows everyone and you simply get on with so many people from the village without speaking much. The many events in and around Kiefersfelden with the Bavarian traditions are unique and no matter how many times you have been to these events, every year it is great fun and new experiences are made.

"I am sure that the village community has strengthened my self-confidence."
My object - the Banzl - is the object that I always carry with me when I work with the traditional music band in Kiefersfelden. We fill this banzl with schnapps, which we then serve and sell at our events. It’s great fun and I’ve already met lots of new people through this. It has also created unique experiences that can never be taken away. My mother was already one of the traditional shot girls, called "Maketenderin" and used to work with our traditional music club. The band is simply a huge part of Kiefersfelden and I am proud to be a part of it, which is why it connects me so much with my village.

My favorite place in Kiefersfelden is the dance studio, where I have been training at least twice a week for many years. Dancing is my passion, which I have been doing since I was 4 years old. The studio in Kiefersfelden has been there for about 6 years now and it’s a place where I can simply switch off and forget everything else. The fact that this place is only 5 minutes away from my home is just great. Part of village life for me is that I can cycle to training after work and dance together with other dancers from Kiefersfelden. The owner of the studio - Hannah - originally comes from the big city, but has now made a home for herself in Kiefersfelden and has also integrated very quickly, which I also find very nice and which shows that the community in the village is simply great.
