KORBINIAN
For me, Kiefersfelden is home and a feeling of safety. The excitement of the various events and traditions year after year. Palm Sunday, for example, is a family day for me. We go to church together and then always afterwards to the Schaupenwirt, a restaurant that has been in Kiefersfelden for decades. I had the best summer moments with my friends at the weir on the Kieferbach. The old weir is the place to go swimming for the people of Kiefer and it used to be for my parents. It’s great that the people of Kiefer have maintained this love for the place for generations.

When I walk through Kiefersfelden and see our village emblem, it always reminds me how beautiful it is here and how much I appreciate growing up and living here.
My favorite place in Kiefersfelden is the meadow in the center of the village where our beer tent stands every year. This tent always reminds me of the good times every Kieferer has in it. How the whole village comes together to celebrate and spend time together. Everyone who has a traditional costume gets it out of the cupboard and is happy to be part of this tradition and community.
